Layla was born in Atlanta, Georgia, in 2008 at Piedmont Hospital. She attended Angel’s Academy in Southwest Fulton and was part of the first kindergarten class at Smyrna Elementary School in Cobb County. Layla was a part of Upward Sports, where she played T-Ball and Basketball. She was a Cheerleader for Smyrna Spartans. Layla was a very happy child and loved to laugh and make others laugh. One of her hobbies was cooking.
How it’s Going
Layla relocated with her family to Waldorf, Maryland, when she was six years old. She attended Berry Elementary in Charles County. She was a part of the swim team at North Point High School and was a gymnast. She then attended middle school at Theodore G. Davis Middle School, where she was a member of the dance team and maintained the principal’s honor roll.
Layla took a liking to serving her community in the Maryland area. She committed herself with a 501(C)3 organization Evolve where she assisted with food drives, golfing outings, Toys for Tikes, and football camps.
